TRANSLUCENT PROJECT A-LEVEL (2017)

One of my A-Level project titles was: "translucent". For this I chose to take a slightly alternative approach. Rather than exploring something that is clearly visually translucent, I explored something more covertly linked to translucency. Butterflies' wings are translucent, however this isn't their key feature, their uniqueness, colour and patterning is more poignant. I explored butterfly wings further and developing a project surrounding this theme; some of my work is shown below.
